  • All-India RTC clearing price saw the rise by 8.54% as it went from 4.15 Rs/kWh to 4.50 Rs/kWh. Purchase bid volume saw an increment of 5.8% as it went from 181.0 MUs to 191.6 MUs and sales bid noticed a decline as it went from 163.9 MUs to 160.1 MUs. Procurement form E2 region has increased from 4.4 MUs to 12.4MUs for the day.
  • Southern Region: As demand during off-peak hours is on rise, Tamil Nadu off-peak demand went from 10,219 MW to 11,619 MW which caused the state to increase its procurement from long term, short term bilateral and from the exchange for the day.
  • Western Region: At the central level, 600 MW unit of MB Power and 660 MW unit of Sasan UMPP went under shutdown on 13th March 2018(evening). Whereas from Gujarat, 498 MW units got revived in last 12 hours.
