  • All-India RTC clearing price noticed a decline as it went from 3.44 Rs/kWh to 3.43 Rs/kWh. Purchase bid volume noticed an increase of 5.1% as it went from 137.5 MUs to 144.2 MUs and sales bid also noticed a decline as it went from 191.2 MUs to 184.3 MUs for the day.
  • Transmission Corridor: For ER to NER, total transfer capability increased by 300 MW in 0000 to 1700 and 2300 to 2400 hour time blocks and by 330 MW for 1700 to 2300 hour time blocks for 30th April 2018 due to the non-availing shutdown of 400/220kV ICT-1 at Misa.
  • Southern Region: At the central level, 800 MW unit of Kudgi Thermal power Station was revived on 29th April 2018 which under shutdown from 12th of last month. At the state level, 600 MW unit of Singareni TPS from Telangana was revived.
  • Weather: Maximum temperature is likely to rise by 1-2℃ over the west and adjoining northwest and central India during next 2-3 days.
